I just looked through some pictures I took as I was making my last bit of clothing. It's nice to know that, however frustrating my current project may get (and it's in the "nudging pixels around endlessly" stage, which is pretty annoying), it at least looks a smidgen better than my last dress. And I don't mean it's prettier -- I mean the wrinkles and seams and whatnot look a bit better. Well, to me, anyway. The rest of you might not think so. ;)

On another note, I'd love to do a collaborative fashion exhibition (either on jewelry, or on outre fashion), but I'm concerned about a) finding people and b) bogging down the sim, if I do find people.

Jewlery show sounds great! And didn't Tuli propose a formal fashion show over at the (now defunct) Fashionista Social blog? I don't have a sim or know any of the movers & shakers in the fashion scene, but if you need some help to bog down the sim, I'll gladly help!

Thanks! I'd already planned on asking you to participate if I did go through with it. You make great jewelry. :)

And Tuli did -- it's a good idea, if someone can find a spot for it. I didn't offer to hold it at my place, though, because I think she wanted something roughly the size of Hair Fair. That I'm not willing to do at my store: there are other people in the sim I'm at, and Hair Fair was so laggy that I fled and never returned, anyway.

First of all..I loved your last dress, you already knew that but I want to say it again. Secondly...I would be uber jealous if you managed to get a jewelry show together. CJ and I are dying to do a skin one but we don't know any skin makers don't feel we would garner enough attention since we are still pretty new. I do think it would be awesome if you got something together. Don't be shy about approaching Fallingwater. I had the chance to speak to her on a few occasions and she is so sweet. IMO, you, Jackal and Fally are it when it comes to accessories and the 3 of you could certainly manage to collect a huge group. And finally...having a huge show sounds fun but a small one may actually end up being better for both designers that take part in the show as well as those who visit. I loved hair fair but at the same time, i foud it frustrating cause it was soooo big and it overwhelmed me and the lag was really bad. Fewer designers mean you attract the ones who are most excited about the project and you will have a smaller 'audience' not awful things. Excuse the lengthy post.
