Come up with a posting program. This requires a great deal of personal-self-control, but it's necessary to your website. If it's not up-to-date continuously, then there's no blog. Consider experimenting until you find one that suits your pace. There are a few bloggers that post close to 2-3 content daily, although some submit about one particular per week.
