So, I suppose I owe you all an update.

It's not a really big secret that my business doesn't do fabulously. Some of this is my fault, but some of it is that I'm not terribly lucky. I'm about ready to throw in the towel, but I'm going to try giving things six more months. I'm working on some things now -- landscaping things, jewelry stuff, eye stuff, and possibly another project -- and will shut the sim down for a few days in mid-December; when I reopen, all the new stuff will be out, and I plan to get back on a weekly release schedule after that.

I guess, it is a good decision for us Miriel fans, that you give yourself another 6 month. And I really hope that your financial situation in SL will be better then. The whole situation of SL economy is terrible at the moment: saturated markets, floods of high-quality freebies, worldwide financial RL crisis, rising of umpteen of other 3d environments and so on.
In six month we will know more, and I hope that you will say:
I'll stay!

Hi Miriel. :)

Just stopped by your store for the first time since you redid the sim, and it looks amazing! That treasure hunt of yours nearly drove me crazy tho, I had to leave emptyhanded. :D

Sad to hear buisness is slow. Why aren't you selling the trees, the fountain, the benches, the stones, +++? Glad to hear you're not throwing in the towel yet, keep working and hopefully things will light up. :)

xoxo, Antie

The next few months are likely to be hard ones for the SL economy. I'm afraid sales will drop for everyone.

You know I'm a big fan Miriel. You are so very talented. I hate to see you discouraged.

Thank you everyone. It's not that I'm discouraged to watch my sales falling in the past few months -- though they have fallen -- it's that they've never, ever risen anywhere near the levels I'd like. I'd been trying to make a living at this, and never got anywhere close to succeeding, not in years of being here.
